Students shine when taking English courses in San Diego. The ELS English Language Center in San Diego is centrally located downtown, near the city’s entertainment and shopping district and major bus and trolley lines. The comfortable climate, friendly atmosphere, sandy beaches, year-round events, and tourist attractions make this lively coastal Southern California city a fun and unique place to explore.
Learn English in San Diego
ELS students learning English in San Diego study on the 16th floor of a large office building. The center features a 34-computer Learning Technology Center for additional studying and there is also a cafe within the building.
Upon successful completion of ELS Level 112, you will fulfill the English language entry requirement for conditional admission to partner colleges and universities.

Housing Options
Homestay
This option is popular and practical, especially for young or inexperienced travelers. Students have a safe, comfortable place to live with home-cooked meals and a friendly, experienced host family. Talking with homestay hosts helps students improve their conversational skills outside the classroom. Students travel to and from class via public transportation.
